The Janus Summer Programs are designed to provide students, k-12, the opportunity to learn more about their individual learning style, as well as retain and acquire new learning strategies that can assist with the development of their overall academic ability. Afternoon Programs are also provided in order to give students the opportunity to participate in both academic and non-academic pursuits in a nurturing environment that recognizes the impact learning differences can have during one’s experience in more traditional learning activities.

Core Academic Program

The Core Academic Program is for students K-12, with or without a diagnosed learning difference. The Core Academic Program is offered in two 3-week sessions and includes instruction in small classroom settings. The Program includes Language Arts, Math, Diagnostic Tutoring and Enrichment Classes. Students participate in a collaborative environment that focuses on the development and understanding of their own learning profile. The overall goal of the Core Academic Program is to provide students and you, as parents, with information that will enable you to reach a better understanding of your child’s strengths and weaknesses.
