Admission

Personalized learning at Janus starts by understanding the specific challenges that should be addressed for your child. Admission consideration to The Janus School includes your child’s learning difference, their potential for skill improvement, and the absence of a primary emotional or behavioral disability. We encourage you to join us for an Open House or to schedule a private tour to experience the Janus difference for yourself.

To apply to The Janus School, download and complete the Application Form or apply online.  Your completed application will include:

1. Application Form with $100 application fee payable to The Janus School.
2. Additional Forms:
   • Teacher Reference Form
   • Transcript Request (for grades 9-12)
   • Physician Report
   • Ophthalmologist/Optometrist Report
3. Most recent (within 3 years) psychoeducational or neuropsychological evaluation.

After reviewing the completed application, the Director of Admission will schedule a 2-3 day student visit if the applicant meets the primary criteria. Placement testing may take place during this visit. An admission decision will be made after all application materials have been received and the student has visited Janus.

If needed, you are encouraged to complete the Financial Aid process along with your application.

Be sure to also ask about our Inspired Beginnings Scholarship program for students in grades K through 5, which offers $4,700 in scholarship funds to each student while they are enrolled in grades K-5 at Janus.
