Assessment

The assessment program at The Janus School provides instructors, parents, and outside sources relevant information about a student's progress and skill development.

Assessment, in the form of standardized achievement testing, informal assessment, progress monitoring measures, and weighted grades, provides instructors diagnostic information for developing individualized, dynamic instructional programs for each student.

This information also provides parents feedback on their child's readiness to transition, and provides outside sources with quantitative data for reevaluation and placement purposes.
